Hey guys,

The formal release of our Big Brake Kit for the Honda Civic is now available. You can check out our blog covering the details here. https://www.27won.com/blog/27won-performance-big-brake-kit-launches-for-the-honda-civic

As with all of our products I'll be working on a product video to add to the listing to give you guys a further breakdown on the kit.

This kit has been on the track a handful of times and been pushed to the limits to ensure it works. No ABS or traction lights come from the upgrade. Brake bias is not upset from front to rear, and we designed it so the front caliper is able to accept a wide range of performance pads from various manufacturers.

In regards to wheel fitment, we made it easy and a have a wheel template guide that you can download from our site and put on your wheel ahead of time so you know what you have to do. You can print your copy here
https://store.27won.com/_27Won/27Wo...ke_Kit/FC1-3-413-BBK-Wheel-Fitment-Cutout.pdf

We hope you guys find this as a good solution for the chassis as much as we did.

I have reason to believe this would also fit the Accords and CRV but have not had the chance to fit one on. So if your local and have a new Accord or CRV drop us a line so we can check it out.

Comment and questions below my friends.

17" is what we recommend. You can squeeze a 16" if the concave is right, but I don't suggest it.

"think" and "hear"? You wouldn't be spreading bias "opinions" I hope, would look terrible as a moderator if you are..
"Big Brake Kit"

:)

I think someone else has a small brake kit available but I hear it's not very safe for the street.

Can always go with the S2000 rotors and the DC5 Brembos from the Integra Type R.

Those are smaller than stock Si.

One could likely argue that if I had a bias it would be for the small brake kit I mentioned, not against it. I was told by the company owner in a private conversation that it was not suitable for street use, simple as that. Regardless, if this conversation needs to be continued it should be done so elsewhere, outside of this post within a sponsor’s forum. My apologizes for derailing the post to begin with.

Feel free to contact me within another forum section or via PM with any other questions regarding non 27Won products or me being the most terrible moderator on the site.

Does this kit fit OEM Si wheels, or does it need a spacer too?

You would need a spacer. But we made it super easy to figure out. We have a wheel template fitment guide on our website. Designed to help you figure out how much clearance you have.

Is there any way to know what specs you need on wheels to need no spacers? I haven't bought wheels yet, but I'd like to not have to use spacers.

We can't give direct specs has the design of every wheel is so different. Two wheels with identical specs might fit differently because of the concave or design pattern. However we do have the wheel template so that you can check it amongst wheels if you are able to get your hands on some to fit. You can download that for free off of our website here.
