As you fellas and ladies know there’s a thousand different aftermarket steering wheels offered for our vehicles. Doesn’t matter the trim level… my question is... Does any company out there say “hey we tested our wheels in crash simulations and you won’t be impaled if you hold on during an impact…. I would LOVE to get a flat bottom carbon wheel. But accidents do happen and everyone holds on the wheel for dear life… I just don’t want the outer ring snapping off and my chest being impaled. I emailed a cheaper company (not using names) regarding their wheels. No response. I emailed another company that sells wheels for like 1100 bucks and they responded “we believe in our products.” Like great douchebag you believe in something you sell. I’m asking did it pass any tests so it doesn’t impale someone…. Or are we suppose to throw caution to the wind? because it doesn’t matter the price of something. I guarantee one of these companies is selling a carbon wheel with a made in china interior design. It’s like putting lipstick on a pig. Ya know? Then Joe Blow Consumer says oh hey it’s 1200$. No way it’s built with Chinese parts. I beg to differ my friend….

That's why I prefer Momo, Sparco, Nardi/Personal, or OMP wheels. All Italian made. I'm sure Chinese made steering wheels are good enough, just like Chinese made road wheels.

I want to use a Momo and Sparco wheel I have leftover from past cars, but I don't want to lose the steering wheel controls. Spoon makes a hub adapter that accommodates the controls, but I rather spend $675 on other mods. On some cars the signal stalk won't auto-cancel when turning an aftermarket steering wheel. That happened on a 2006 Toyota. Annoying.

I don't think you will get the type of assurance you're looking for as there's too much liability in making a declaration like that. If you're concerned, stick with the OEM wheel or the OEM Accessory wheel.
