Connecting aftermarket backup camera?

my vehicle is a 2022 model fe case honda civic premium.

As standard, the model does not have a reversing camera and has a 7-inch screen.
I bought a backup camera and connected it but it doesn't work.

When I put reverse gear the screen does not turn on.
i took the trigger cable from the reversing light but the problem still exists

I think it has settings via multimedia. Does anyone know these settings?

Wow no backup camera in Turkey? No wonder the cameras we have stock in the US are trash. They're only installing them here because of regulations.

There's a chance that the head unit is not programmed to expect a backup camera to be plugged in so nothing happens when you set it to reverse. Maybe reach out to your dealership? Doubt they'll be able to do anything but maybe they'll point you in the right direction.
