Hi everyone. I've read through the two threads that talked about whether we should disable factory exhaust valve. However, I wasn't able to find the definite answer on its function. If I were to order an aftermarket exhaust with the valve disabled, would it cause issues like quirks during cold start driving with stock tune just as some other members were experiencing with the fuse pulled? I wanted to get the Remark TI exhaust but it had the valve disabled. Thanks in advance for answering my question.

I go back and forth between having an active valve and fully disabling it all the time and in my experience, there is literally no difference between the two. I cannot speak for others, but I just chalk up those cold start driving comments to placebo.
Pull the fuse. You’ll be alright.
