Since you have them in proper shipping boxes any possibility of shipping them?

Hi there.

Technically possible I guess, but they're not extra padded is a bit of a concern from my side. (When my vendor shipped them from JPN, they triple boxed them, using extra RAYS boxes but 20" and 21" boxes).

That said, Do you have a FedEx or an UPS account? Or do you need me to arrange them?

My buddy suggested I separate the rims and the spacers in that not all vehicles can make the fit...so...

Rims: $1400 (OBO)
Spacers: $300 (OBO)

Hi,

Are the spacers still available? If so - got any pictures?

Thx
Hi,

Yes, they're still available. I didn't take photos of the spacers and they're at the shop at the moment. Please give me a day or two so I can swing by the shop and get them.

Thanks.

My apologies for the delay. Here are some photos, that I asked the shop owner took for me. (Was busy and couldn't swing by to take them myself, thus the delay...)

PS. I didn't get the spacers till about month after acquiring my FL5 when I lowered it using Spoon's lowering springs. So their use would've been less than 2300. (vs. less than 2400 for the rims).

Just got my FL5 a month ago and not very active on here but would you be willing to sell just the 15mm spacers? I’m looking to run 15mm all around and just need the 15’s. Let me know - thanks!

Hi, thanks for the interest. I'll need to think about that...

That said, any reason why you'd want to go 15 all around?? I'm not sure if you already have it lowered or plan to, 15mm will make the front flush, but the rear will be inset @ 15mm.

Attached are how they'll look with F: 15mm / R: 25mm, lowered using Spoon's Progressive Springs (-20mm both F/R), both F/R pretty flush to the fenders. (The rear is slightly inset than the front). I took these when I was discussing with a distributor deciding what offsets to choose for the TE37s.

You should get a similar look with LOWDOWN Springs from J's Racing, with the front slightly lower @ -25mm.

I appreciate your feedback and pics.

Would you also happen to have side pics of your car when you had the springs and spacers on?

Thanks!

Hi,

Unfortunately I never took the side pics when I had the spacers. But I do have some pics of how it looks now. Below is the setup comparison. Basically 1mm difference for Front/Rear.
  • OEM Rims / Spoon Springs / with Spacers
    • Front:
      • Height: -20mm
      • Rims: 19 x 9.5J
        • Offset: +60(original) - 15mm @ +45
    • Rear
      • Height: -20mm
      • Rims: 19 x 9.5J
        • Offset: +60 (original) - 25mm @ +35
  • TE37 / Spoon Springs / no Spacers
    • Front:
      • Height: -20mm
      • Rims: 19 x 9.5J
        • Offset: +44
    • Rear
      • Height: -20mm
      • Rims: 19 x 9.5J
        • Offset: +36

Hope this helps!

Tetsu - point taken. I’m still debating on spacers or just ponying up and getting wheels LOL! How do you like the Spoon springs?

Hi,

I bought my TE37's from a shop in Japan direct, which had a 16 lead time, so was using it to still give it that flush look while I was waiting.

Spoon's springs are great. Though 10% stiffer than OEM, the ride is smooth. J's Hyper Springs weren't yet released then, so was the only choice. But having been riding with both F/R @ -20mm, it was the right choice. J's Front is -25mm, but with So Cal's speed bumps and height gap between some of the parking lot entrances, I think @ -20mm is just right.

Well, just let me know what you decide

Did you have to pay custom duty tax ordering from japan?
