Hey guys, posted this in the FB Type R group, just wanted to share here as well.
Was driving 03/23 on my way to work, right before getting onto the freeway, car limped on me. Traction control, abs, brake system, brake, EPS and other lights came on (No CEL tho). Car wouldn't accelerate over 30 mph and wouldn't rev past 3000 RPM. Pulled over and used Honda roadside to get me towed to my Honda dealer (The one i work at).
Had my tech pull codes and found R/R Wheel speed sensor open circuit. Figured either the wheel speed sensor took a shit or something chewed the wire. No visible chew marks so I got a new harness ordered. Replaced harness and still the same issue.
Tech then checked continuity from the interior fuse box panel to the R/R wheel speed sensor and found no continuity.
Car needs a floor harness T.T
Not sure if this will help anyone because it seems like a one off situation. Find it kind of strange that something like this would happen, just glad i was still under manufacturer warranty.
