Replaced my rear pads for the FL5 at 9k miles with Hawk HPS 5.0. Went through the bedding process. Now once the brakes get a bit warm, the rears sound like a train when light braking or no braking. When cold at first startup and drive they are silent. I am wondering if putting silicone grease rated to 3000 degrees F, is safe to use on the backs and ears? Will this grease cause more problems down the road if the brake dust cakes up on it? I understand performance pads are a bit more noisy but I figured that would happen more when they were cold and not hot. Is this something that I will just have to live with? Any recommendations on pads that are fade resistant, and low noise and dust? LOL I know you cant get all 3 but any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you
