Rain and more rain, car is unlocked and flashed with the TSP tune. Cant tell ya much other than that. It’s raining cats and dogs in Central PA so putting my foot into it wasn’t happening. Was a quick and painless experience. If you are close enough to make the drive to IMW, that is what I would recommend. You do have to set appointments as Derek Robinson stays busy. More to follow once I can actually drive it

OK opinion time:

Tune is good, like really good. The power comes on as expected with spool and just pulls and pulls. Butt dyno says massive amounts of power more than stock. This is what we all want. Ok the next thing that makes me extremely happy. Driving North i netted 26.8MPG with some traffic on 95. Driving home 31.8 with over 90min in stop and go traffic. These were both 300mile trips . This is wonderful since the tank on the car is tiny. do yourself a favor and get a flash. get more power/smiles per gallon/ or just MPG .

Glad you are happy with it! Once I tuned my car I attempted to drive the car on the stock map to compare butt dyno. And man the stock map felt so slow.

When you say TSP tune, did you just use a calibration they have or did you get it tuned on the dyno? Just curious. I uploaded the hondata calibration and then got mine tuned. I ended up with 396lbs tq to the wheels lol and 361hp to the wheels. Before the tune, I was about 300 for both tq and hp.

The TSP tune is very good so he is making power. There is always a bit left on the table for safety but a dyno or custom tune will always be the way I go.

yeah, I don't doubt that at all. I figure like you said, there's always a tad left for more room with a custom tune. Crazy to me how much more torque this turbo makes compared to the fk8.

It’s the smaller turbo wheel that is getting all that torque down low. Personally I’m not a fan of the approach just because high torque at low rpms can cause issues. But it makes the car feel peppy thats for sure. I think a MHI stage 2 turbo is the sweet spot for the car and what it should have come with from the factory.
