Just picked up my 2022 Civic Sport Hatchback 2.0 with manual

6 hours of driving, a quick phone call to dealer, a little bit of luck (finding the car online hours after it listed and able to secure it with a deposit) a great wife, and I’ve got a 2022 Civic Sport (base) with a manual! I DID pay MSRP, actually a little under! On the drive back through the mountains I got approximately 34-35 mpg. If you guys want to know the dealer I will list the dealer and the salesman I used. They took very good care of me and I did not have any funny business in the final cost. Any questions at all please ask, thanks!

Also, I haven’t sold it yet but this will be replacing my 7th gen Civic with 327,000 miles! So as you can probably tell, a huge step up for me!

Looks great. I have not driven the 2l motor, fuel economy sounds decent for mountain driving conditions in cool temps. Enjoy the ride.

How has yours been so far?

I'm really curious this model since I have the same powertrain in my 10th Sedan. Since I got some lightweight components, my 2017 sedan weights 2700lb and I'm able to pull as hard as 1.5T version with the weight advantage. I've taken mine to the track (TMP) and it comes alive when driven 10/10.. It would be interesting to see if 11th hatch with K20C2 engine has the same potential.
