Hey Y'all,
I'm located in Falls Church, VA and I own an Integra Type S. I've run into a few of you here and on Integraforums, but I figured I'd post in the regional section to get some traction on finding one or two volunteers willing to lend me their time and car for an afternoon for some product testing.
As can be read in more detail in this thread, I have built a consumer-level product that will allow owners of late-model Honda vehicles with Premium sound systems to integrate aftermarket DSPs into their OE infotainment while staying in the digital domain for the source. Currently, the only solution for integrating DSPs into Hondas is to capture the post-amplified signal from the OE amplifier and reconstruct a flat, unprocessed source signal which leads to less than ideal sound quality. My solution allows you to take the digital source directly from the OE head unit and bypass the factory amp entirely, while retaining volume control and all steering wheel button functionality for the sound system.
I need to test my device and OE signaling on multiple Honda models to ensure broad compatibility, which is why I am looking for local volunteers to help out. I would only need a couple hours of your time (maximum) and no modifications will be made to your vehicle.
As a thank you for your time, I'll be offering an incentive for anyone who is able to help out. Please DM me if you are interested!
Best,
