SO, I am going to be honest I am not really doing this following any set plan... I just have a problem with two things in life: #1 - OOO Shiney and #2 Gotta Go Fast.
Either way, welcome. I am Necro (I am sure you can find my real name if you dig hard enough), and I, myself, am no mechanic. Nor do I, sadly, have the space in the apartment complex I live at to work on the FL5. What I do have though, is a good shop near by that specializes in most everything Honda, AND I would consider myself friends with most of the people there. All work on my car, to comply with my wife's laws and our apartment complexes rules, will be done there at Green Apple Automotive out here where I live in Pittsburgh, PA. Unless I otherwise note that I took the initiative to break something and do it myself.
I grabbed the FL5 from a dealership, around the end of 2023, that was charging way over MSRP for it; but I was coming from a 2012 Civic Si and a Type-R was kind of my dream car after I grew out of my Eclipse // Evo [RIP] phase

Post Thoughts
Well... that is it really for now. I will post when I do something else here. Again, I have no roadmap or real plans... just taking it one confused step at a time for me. Thankfully I have some friends who are WAY smarter than I am, and I also have this forum now as well. August I will be making my way to Innovative Motorworks to meet with Derek at the Dyno and get a tune on everything that it is in it now.
After that... I think my next want is an exhaust that isn't stock, and because I have problems with money I am thinking about the Saclam FL5 Civic Type R Siren Circuit Exhaust I would like to work into the Hondata Fuel System and CanFLEX as well. I am also leaning towards the 27WON Kuro+ Turbo as well. I also know PRL has a Rear Motor Mount and I love supporting some home town friends, but I also see that SPOON has a nice Engine Transmision Mount Set. I am always open to suggestions, thoughts, and ritual sacrifices for my bank account.
