Interesting. I have the Apexi exhaust and love it. I intentionally avoided overtly loud exhaust. I find this exhaust to be perfect. It is of course a matter of taste and preference.

to me it’s not loud but it does have a drone point at 3500-4000 which he may be complaining about

I just deleted the front resonator and did the fuse mod. Decent sound increase and no drone but it is still on the quiet side, I will be upgrading my downpipe in the near future.

Got it.

I think I'm going to wait until I've done the downpipe before I make any additional changes. Glad it is working for you at the moment.

Good call! I’m very happy with stock exhaust and downpipe.
