Hey all,
Some of you may already know me from here and other forums. If you haven't, I'm Ash, and I have invented a pure digital integration solution for Honda vehicles equipped with Bose from the factory. The product line is called PURE.

While there is a lot more detail worth reading on my website, what PURE does is allow you to install an aftermarket Digital Signal Process (DSP) and fully integrate it into your factory sound system without having to resort to speaker-level integration which ruins the sound quality of an aftermarket installation. You can fully bypass Honda's sub-optimal factory sound processing and instead receive a pure, unaltered digital signal from the factory head unit, while still retaining the factory volume and functional controls on your steering wheel and infotainment screen.

The very best thing is, PURE is plug-and-play with respect to the factory wiring - you don't need to cut or splice a single factory OEM wire or harness, which means no warranty issues, and you can revert the vehicle back to stock in the future very easily. I have a very technical FAQ on my website, so if you have questions, that's the best place to start!

I'm also happy to answer any DM's so please don't hesitate to reach out. Looking forward to helping you build the sound system of your dreams soon!

Best,
-Ash, S2i Audio

Graciously-provided video and pictures from a client from Switzerland!

As you can see, he creatively drilled holes in the OEM amplifier bracket to secure the PURE onto - fits like a charm!

And here's a short video showing the volume control at work - smooth as butter (apt choice in soundtrack too hehe)

FREAKING HUGE UPDATE.

I have just released PURE Gen2 for sale, side by side with Gen1. Both are active products on my website so this isn't a "coming soon" post. :)

Here are the deets on why Gen2 was made and why it makes sense to continue selling Gen1:

PURE ships in two hardware generations, sold side by side. Neither replaces the other, and the right pick depends on the DSP to be used, and the controls you need.

Gen1 and Gen2 differ in how they control volume. Gen1 adjusts volume through the DSP’s wired analog remote-control input. It therefore requires a DSP adapter matched to the processor which is included in the sale.

Gen2 requires no DSP adapter, as it performs volume attenuation internally before it delivers the digital SPDIF signal to the DSP. This broadens the range of compatible processors and frees the DSP’s remote input for accessory digital controllers like Helix's Conductor or Director, for example.

Retaining the wired remote architecture means Gen1 can also support integrated subwoofer-level control, unlike Gen2. Additionally, Gen1 is able to take advantage of DSP's with adjustable loudness contours while Gen2 cannot.

Which Generation is right for you depends on the features you prioritize:
  1. Get Gen1 if you want subwoofer level control capability from your head unit, and/or intend to use your DSP's programmable loudness contour. Just make sure you have a compatible DSP first.
  2. Get Gen2 if you want to be able to use DSP brands like Audison, or any other than uses digital-only remote control interfaces, and if you want to use your DSP's own advanced digital remote control for preset switching, tone controls, fader and balance etc.
