Hi all,
I've finished ceramic coating a set of spare OEM wheels for snow tires. In the process of putting the valve stems back in the wheels, I can't find the torque specification for the valve stem fastener....I've looked in the service manual, online (Schrader-pacific appears to make the part), and other forums for similar parts and no luck. The thread is a M8x0.8, but it's a hollow stem going into an aluminum part so standard torque values for this size of fastener likely won't apply. This is one item I'd like to torque properly.
SO....does anyone have the official torque specification for the valve stem nut (part 11 in the pic)
