Hey guys, been a while. I came from an FK8 back in 2017. Back at it for round 2!

I just installed some 19x9.5” +36 Ultras.

My son made this video, please check it out and let’s get him some views!

Anybody know if the offset on the stock wheels for the FK8 are the same as the stock wheels on the FL5? If not, what is the offset on each?
same offset at +60. but it looks as if the FK8 was able to fit a more aggressive wheel. Theres about a 5mm difference in aggressiveness. a 18x9.5 +40mm on a FK8 fits like +45mm on FL5

Interesting, thanks!

I have aftermarket VMR V710 19" +45 wheels and 275/30/19 Conti Extreme Contact DWS06 all season tires on my FK8 which fit perfectly IMO. I have the original 20-inch wheels and tires (900 miles on them) that came on the FK8 which I will put back on to trade the car in.

Will be interesting to see how the VMRs fit the FL5. if they don't fit well (sounds like they won't), I'm sure I can sell them.

fitment looks awesome! i‘ve been wanting to go for 18s, but been hearing and see a lot of awkward fitment stuff on them. i wonder if going with thicker and wider tires could help fill in the gaps? system motorsports has a ton of 18s for sale and i’m just super worried it won‘t look good

give it a try! Someone’s gotta take one for the team lol it will need to be lowered and possibly 40 series tire to fill the wheel gap. In my Opinion

How do you like those Cont. All seasons? With still being 30 series, are they ok in cold weather and bumps/road noise?

Interesting, thanks!
