Borla ATAK Exhaust for FL5

Is it just me, or does this exhaust sound incredible? Is anyone else planning to buy this thing?



I admit I don't know much about aftermarket exhausts and have spent most of my time and money trying to make my FL5 light up while covering it with stick-on junk... but I think this Borla system sounds great.

I know it'll be pricey (but what isn't), but am I missing anything about Borla? Will it rust out? Fall apart? Make it obvious I don't know what I'm doing and should've stuck to lighting mods?

I cant tell if its titanium. For that price better be

We sold/sell a lot of Borla Ataks for the FK8, so no doubt these will be a hot seller too.

It's made out of stainless not titanium for sure. They've never done TI.

I'm going to guess $2800-3200 for the exhaust depending on tips.

Borla has a million mile warranty so no issues with rust or exhaust falling apart!

Any chance y'all can find out when the FL5 exhaust may be available for purchase?

I might check this out. I just took off my milltek. After a while, the milltek had too much drone to me. I put the resonator pipe hoping that would help, but then I didn't like the exhaust note lol. I'm picky with exhausts. I gotta sell this milltek first

Borla is almost always 99% drone free so it might be the move but the ATRAK is always the loudest version.

I'm fine with loudness. I like a bit of crackle sound. Milltek just found overly loud at any rpm

Am I the only person that think this looks gaudy and over-styled? While the sound is acceptable the way it looks is terrible for the price.

No offense to anyone who likes it but it's not for me...

True it is kinda weird looking

I don't like the way it looks either. The tips and the bracket with all the holes in it are both too much for my taste.

It does sound good though.

You're not alone. There's too much going on with the tips. Between cost, sound/tone, style, fit/finish, and metal options, I'm underwhelmed with the FL5 exhaust offerings to date.

lol yeah. It's tough for me to find one that is exactly how I want.
