I’m personally waiting for the $100k listing from Midland Honda on this “ultra rare, once in a lifetime colour Boost Blue!”

Any changes? Also a question, anyone with a 25+ still getting those annoying rattles from behind the steering wheel and the seat belt adjusters?
USDM car here. Purchased new 11months ago now, 1300 miles total all city except for approximately 125. My car doesn’t rattle. Not at the steering wheel, seatbelt adjuster, nor driver window.
PRL rmm too (since mile 475), which supposedly increases NVH. Feels about the same as stock to me though, save for cold startup which I can feel a slight difference. My engine runs butter smooth, which may/may not be attributed to fourth oil/filter change since new and I am not hard/aggressive on it.

maybe I bought a Wednesday build? 2025 is solid

Used prices have come down somewhat but the car is still pretty rare in Canada overall and dealerships will continue to take advantage. We'll see what happens when MY26 arrives in the next few months.

Still next one on the list at my dealer. Was supposed to get White.

In the meantime, I bought a TLX-S and an ITS, so was pretty sure I would pass on my CTR allocation. But if it is Blue, man I don't know what I'm gonna do! I think Boost Blue is such a nice color!

If it only worked that way... If I don't take it, it'll go to the next on the list.

Only way you could have it is if I buy it, then sell it to you. But then, I would have top sell you the total price paid...and you'll have to pay the province tax on top of it. So, quite expensive for you...

which one? what are they forcing people to buy?
One in particular will only sell to you with a trade-in. Whatever market value is for the trade-in, they'll knock ~15k off the price in order to get their markup that way instead of increasing the sale price of the new vehicle.

damn lol I gues the waitlists are still pretty long at the dealerships... I was hoping to walk in and be able to buy without crazy mark up (<3k) by now

Generally, you can bypass having to pay PST if you're purchasing a car for resale. Ref if you're in BC - Notice to Vehicle Resellers

Basically, you would either have to have PST # which you would provide to the dealer at the time of sale or you would have to provide them with a completed certificate of exemption. You probably wouldn't have a PST # so you would go with the certificate.

I'm assuming you'd still have to pay GST on the car at the dealer and you'd have to deal with claiming that amount back as an input tax credit via registering and filing a GST return with CRA.

A lot of hassle.
