  1. How aero is the FL5 really is? And why you should probably not remove the wang

They talk a bit about the CF wing around the 4m mark in this vid. I think there is another one where they are indoors talking about the wing with more technical details but I can't find it anymore.
  2. Exhaust advice: Catback to Catless?

Not running a cat is one of the worst things you can do for everyone around you on the street. The NO2 that your car would produce without one is a super toxic gas that leads to a whole host of health issues (especially for young kids), acid rain, ozone, and filters into food chains in the...
  3. I'm in for a manual, hybrid CTR.

Fair points. I think it will be hard to top the FL5, but I think it's possible to make a car as good with some added benefits of a Hybrid system. I don't think it will be near the same price though. I'd guess the next CTR regardless of system will be strongly into the 50's. The 2019 CTR had a...
  4. I'm in for a manual, hybrid CTR.

HAHA, I get it. Men don't like advanced technology or looking towards the future. You're only a man if you like old things, complaining about kids, or yelling at the clouds. Enjoy watching everything pass you by. :D
  5. I'm in for a manual, hybrid CTR.

You're right that they haven't come out and said it directly, but they've said a lot to imply that it's likely. I think by the time there is another CTR design beyond the FL5 we might be in the next evolution of EU regulations which is what drives a lot of the engine decisions nowadays (and...
  6. Screw God spec. This is Thor spec.

Comparisons to OEM spec. The 275/35/18 someone mentioned is much closer to OEM setup. Remember, the height of the sidewall is a ratio between the first two numbers of the tire size, not a direct measurement. 285 275
  7. I'm in for a manual, hybrid CTR.

Making it AWD would be the right thing to do if they added motors. Maybe Honda will have in-wheel tech at that point? I've driven a few supercars that are hybrid and they way they are electrified is such a different experience than what most of us think of when we think of electrification...
  8. I'm in for a manual, hybrid CTR.

So my wife has a '25 Civic Hybrid and I have a '25 CTR. I drive her car enough to have gotten comfortable with it and the hybrid system and there are a lot of benefits. Mpg is an obvious one. I'm at 28-30mpg with a tune and I bet it would be mid 30s with a hybrid system if not more considering...
  9. Mugen LED Tail Lights Installed (11th Gen / FL1, FL4, FL5) - First set in DFW?!

I mean, if you've got half the interior out might as well to full racecar at that point. ;)
  10. To steal, or not to steal.

NSXprime is amazing because it's still so active/helpful decades after that car stopped being made. For sure the best community I've been a part of. This site is also great but the car is still in production, we'll see how it looks in 10 years. :D
  11. Spying on you?

There is a small button on the charge mat that you can press to turn off charging.
  12. Spying on you?

Have you disabled the onboard navigation? This helped my disconnects.
  13. Looking for a new Civic, but can't decide which one.

I read it and told him to get the hybrid as I figured pretty much everyone here was going to say otherwise and I think it's a fantastic car. I actually came back to say a few things though. - It's not going to feel as sporty as your SI. The power in the Hybrid is a strong pull with a pretty...
  14. Looking for a new Civic, but can't decide which one.

Same. It's such an 'easy' car to drive. It's quiet and comfortable and so good on gas (we get close to 50 in the summers). The CTR is so much fun but has a raw edge to it, and I'd imagine the Si is somewhere in the middle but for a daily I would be totally happy with the hybrid. Go test drive...
