Me too! I've never been under a car for an oil change for almost 20 years using the extraction pump method! My e53 X5, e86 Z4MC, and 8V S3 all have a dipstick and the filter up top! Not sure if I want to mess with getting under the FL5 now :rolleyes:

What's the point of using an extraction pump when you still have to get under the car to change out the filter? I do use this extraction pump on my wife's Audi S3 because the oil filter is right up top, which doesn't require me to get underneath the car at all. But the FL5's filter is under...

That's because it's the 2nd most popular color produced, right behind Championship White. Still get lots of compliments on the color!

That would be my assumption as well. But remember that there's always an MSRP bump every year, with the 2027 already pushing over the $50K mark. And if you want Red or Black, 2026 would be your last chance!

If you're not convinced on the G80, just pickup up an FL5 and invest the difference. Enjoy the FL5 now while your investment grows. If it grows enough to the point where the FL5+investment can get you something that you really want in the future, buy that.

This is an interesting size to try. Wondering if the 9.5 wide OE wheel is wide enough to make 285/30/19 work? Curious minds want to know if it would work as well ;)

My reaction exactly! I don't see mine last more than 20k.

It varies all over the places. Most says they don't last very long, but some says they're able to eck out over 25k. If you're at 20k and still have plenty of tread life left, I would suspect it must have been replaced at one point? My car is approaching 8k and the front still have about 6/32...
