That's awesome! Getting more and more excited. And look at this! Are these supposed to be official Honda OEM wheels, Modulo, or Mugen? Appears to be 235/40/R18s!
According to a japanese yt video explaining some of the new accessories for the 11th hatchback, these wheels were talked about and looks real interesting! The color is called Blast Gray Metallic paint and it's It's offset 50mm 114.3 x5 18x8J. Honda Genuine Part # is: 08W18-PM3-000.
I thought...
Just curious was this for sound or for performance? And also wouldn’t that loud drone get to you after a while? I used to have an aftermarket catback on a civic years ago that was just as loud but over time it drove me nuts..
@BladeShunner, Yeah what is up with the upright windshield anyway? I see that on the Acura TLX now too and it seems like it would cause more drag no? You used to see those angles all over the place in the 80s, I mean what happened to the smooth curves ?
Someone on reddit claims to work for the Honda plant in Ohio and had posted this photo on reddit. Hopefully he's not in trouble but this appears to be the sports trim in Sonic gray?

@Steve182022, Excellent comparison photo! I've put both the Meteorite Grey Metallic and Polished Metal Metallic together and yeah you're right it does have a more brownish tone. I could've sworn the older polished metal was more gunmetal than meteorite!
Yeah I heard the modern steel has some blue and purple tinge to it, as opposed to the straight up polished metal metallic which is more of a true gunmetal color. But that last two photos uploaded by steve of the meteorite gray is stunning!
Maybe these aren't the best photos for this comparison but does anyone know what the differences are between meteorite gray and modern steel ? I could be slightly colorblind too but they seem pretty much the same no? Top is the 11th in Meteorite Gray metallic, the middle is the 10th Modern Steel...
Awesome post @ administrator, but just curious How do you know it's the Type-R and not perhaps the Si? I know it's a long shot but what if.... What if Honda decides to throw a curveball at the last millisecond and actually surprise United States with an Si trim hatchback?! I'd buy one one so fast!
