I went to overland site and emailed them letting them know what I wanted. This is the complete setup they offer and I believe it was around $600. I just shipped everything to them (still put together). The wireless charger and all. I left my raceseng collar in the leather boot and they...
Ya I just wasn’t sure if the setup would be different since they’re not at their home base. Regardless thanks for the input. I may just do that for now.
Question for anyone that knows. If I ride with a friend and I just have my ecu with me (not car, I’d take it out of car) can Hondata still Jb it or does it need to be in the car while they’re doing the tour ?
Just coming from previous SI and fk8 ownership, they see engine related mods and they won’t do any work if damage is done. Intercoolers have even alerted them to saying they won’t cover if issue arises. I haven’t personally had engine issues yet, just saying they make snarky comments of how they...
Let us know how it goes. So this will affectively just make the CTR suspension behave like the Type S does in all the comfort,. sport and sport+ modes? So the type R R+ mode will be sport+ effectively? Seems like a cheap upgrade if that's the case. I think I saw it was $204 for the module
I’m only getting charge pipes because of the flex of stock pipes. They were known to rip on fk8. And since I want the Intercooler and don’t need a tune with it, I want the cohesion with the IC and better quality pipes. I think any mod aimed at improving performance would need a tune to maximize...
I figured since I’m not gonna get a tune and push more air, I don’t need the inlet pipe. That $300 saved there will go to buy charge pipes when released. I like to mod but still like the fairly “stock” look. The inlet pipe is definitely prettier but think a tune is needed to gain its intended...
@PRL Motorsports Billet Aluminum Heatsink came in today. I know it’s probably more for looks than anything but I like how it looks. It has some good weight to it whereas the stock is plastic. I love me some PRL products. Now I just need that intake and charge pipes to drop.
Watch some youtube videos. I'd jack up the front a little just to have easier access to all the pop clips underneath. The front bumper on the FL5 is much easier than the FK8 was to remove. There are also no fog led plugs to worry about. Just be careful and patient and itll come off fine...
Paint correction will most likely fix this. Mine was swirled/scratched to hell and back but I had a stage 2 paint correction and ceramic applied and all is well.
