Milltek exhaust, at least with the non resonated version, has pops/crackles in gears 1-3 depending on RPM and it sounds great.

Yes. Wastegate noise is normal. Same noise on fk8. No way around it. Exhausts helps muffle it.

Dealers will usually always give grief if something fails and try to blame it on the mod but they basically need to prove the mod caused the failure. Thing is, dealers can blame it on anything so it’s ultimately up to your discretion. An intake design like this isn’t usually a major issue though

I like the way they look but more importantly their function. I tend to crack my windows a lot to let fresh air in, especially when it's raining. I do not smoke/vape, etc. Fresh air circulating in the cabin while decreasing window noise is a win for me.

ya I’m kinda surprised too. The engine is mostly the same and it’s a similar car to fk8. You’d think this one would have been faster. I’m surprised the intake is coming this long after the Intercooler.

ya they pulled same crap with me over the phone. I said it’s a stop sale recall and gave them my vin#. Said I wasn’t driving in for something they can verify over the phone. She finally agreed and said yep, you’re affected. Made the appt over the phone and took it in. I’m not doing 2 trips lol.

lol wow. That’s ridiculous. Took them 3 hours to do mine and an oil change. Dropped it off at 9. They called me at 12. Sounds to me like they didn’t start actually working on yours until late in day instead of the 10am APPT
