No fanboy here (the FL5 is my first Honda performance car) and I share your enthusiasm for the car. It’s a joy to drive on the parkway, curved roads or in traffic with its awesome shift feel and perfect clutch. Such a great commuter and enthusiast car.
Was very happy to see that was an option in individual mode. Before buying the car I had thought a review video said it wasn’t possible.
Sweet spot for individual mode is Suspension Comfort, engine sound Comfort, display +R, everything else Sport
While installing the weathertech floor mats I was surprised to find how thin the red carpet is and also how it seems attached to a fairly rigid backing, almost like a pressed fiberboard. Definitely quite different than the carpeting in most cars I’ve owned.
System Motorsports hooked me up with these Volk TE-37SL’s. 18x9.5 +45 offset, color - double pressed graphite. Tires are for daily use so went with an all season with more side wall, 255/40 R18. Lug nuts are from McGard
Here is the WeatherTech and Sly Bracket info that I purchased. For the logo, I had some left over black vinyl and covered the Weathertech logo and added “Type R” stickers I received from my dealer.
Agree the accelerator is positioned too far back from the brake pedal for easy roll foot throttle blip during downshifting (brake on left side of foot and then roll foot right to blip accelerator).
Sometimes there are pedals that can be added to bring them closer together height and width wise.
