I have an FK8 and I also looked for a 4 point harness to help secure me in place on track. So I purchased a Schroth profi II ASM 4 point harness and a harness bar for my car. I also own (and race) a race car so I do know how it feels to be securely strapped to a racing bucket seat with a 6 point...
This warning uses a calculated brake temp. It's certainly wrong once you change pads and/or fluid.
Not really. There is a fuel level meter inside the tank. Since it's too sensitive to lateral acceleration, it's heavily filtered out while cornering. Once you stop and give it a minute or two...
Sorry, I saw this message just this Friday. I wasn't checking on this thread.
So I asked the local parts guy and he said there was not a kit. Since all parts come with the car, you can only purchase a replacement for each of them individually. It's crazy expensive, unfortunately.

Wait, I found many pictures of the turbo/exhaust manifold online, like this aftermarket one:

This means it's not a headifold.
Yeah, absolutely.
It's just the mishimoto secondary radiator mounted in a different location. Here you can see his setup with the small aux radiator behind the engine: https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/grimace-build-thread-lap-time-modification-tracking.43196/post-1211635
My friend is using a VW Tiguan OEM...
Thanks for this drawing. This knuckle design is just crazy. I took a few pics of these cars last month:

He has 2 oil coilers, one on each side. The aux radiator sits in front of the main radiator. He has another small aux radiator back in the hood scoop. His hood is similar to the stock hood and his main radiator is OEM (really!!). Oh and he's quite fast, holds a few records on the west coast...
Yep. It worked!

He is running approximately 400whp and can do 20 min sessions without any cooldown laps. I'm getting one of those kits!
Did you see the brake caliper position in this picture? They inverted it from the FK8 TCR!
I assumed it was the OEM intercooler when I saw the plastic end tanks, but was not sure. The intake is also interesting - it doesn't have that aluminum inlet pipe over the turbo. It's a hose that travels...
They don't, only the whole thing. Paragon rings are the way to go, they also ventilate better. But these OEM rotors should last a lot, they are really good.
The TCR CTR uses a sequential transmission, so the factory transmission heat exchanger is not there. I could easily see the small transmission cooler on the FK8 TCR, but not on the FL5 - even though the brochure in post #1 says the FL5 should have one. Could this be the reason they changed the...
This is amazing. I looked for this same S58 doc and the explanation for each cooling circuit is just so cool to read. To be fair, since 2 of their frontal radiators are for charge air cooling, we should count our IC and say we have 2 cooling elements. Still a bit short hahaha
More importantly...
You know you shouldn't just make us curious and not explain us the reason right? :p
Not really needed haha. Took a lot of short videos, mostly from the FK8s though. I will open a new thread on civicx and upload them in the coming days!
Lots of anti tempering wires. One of them on the valve...
On Sunday I'm going to a TCR race with pit lane access. Coincidentally just today I received this picture that shows exactly what I wanted to see haha. Indeed the engine seems tilted back. I can't even see the left engine mount.
