The black trim is the grill though? Many people have body matched the grill for the FK8 and doesn’t have the concave look with overhang on the top and bottom.

It’s literally the grill that gives the FL5 the beluga look… you are over analyzing it haha. The black piece on the FK8 aka the grill, connects flush to the bumper where the FL5 grill is concave so it gives it the frumpy hood.

Yea forsure, just my opinion. Don’t get me wrong there’s lots I don’t like about my FK8 as well as the FL5. I think the FK8 rear is it’s worst attribute where I think the FL5 the front is it’s worst. I want to combine both them together to get a perfect CTR haha!

The puddle light seems very eBay special to me. But the wing and other accessories are a very nice touch.

You drop into the Fk8. The driving position is very similar to my friends FRS but the civic has a way better steering wheel and way better seats. Feels like a real sports car. Not like a focus RS or golf GTI where you sit on the car it feels like. I would assume the FL5 will be just like the FK8.

I don’t see how it makes a statement if it is black and blends in. It pretty much hides the wing by being black. (My opinion).
