I know it's the wrong thread, been following all 444 of these pages and cost / opinions / financial oversight has been very common on this thread so figured it would get some people chatting again!
Thought this might be the perfect place for this, popped up on my LinkedIn trending news this morning.
" A record number of new car owners are now paying at least $1,000 a month for their vehicles — a result of spiking interest rates and soaring auto prices. Nearly 16% of customers who financed...
The SI is a great car as long as you adjust your expectations. Don't think you're getting a fast sports car. This is a mildly aggressive daily driver that is worth every penny of the price. If you're looking for speed you might want to shop elsewhere but you're looking at 10-20k difference...
I'm confused by this post as well, why would you modify anything at all on a leased vehicle, you'll be forced to purchase it at the end of the lease especially if you tune it.
I've had about 15 cars over the past 7 years. Just trade payment for payment but get to experience different things. I have yet to find a car that completely blows me away.
Has anyone been disappointed with their R after owning it for a few weeks? Could be anything from performance to overpaying etc? I don't expect there to be many, if any, just looking for some feedback as I wait for my allocation to come in.
Sweet deal. I'm first on a local list for 4k over they haven't received their allocation yet. Honestly hoping they don't see it until spring so I'm not using it during the winter.

If you're basing this off the Type R finder it's likely inaccurate. Many places in my area that still pop up on that map have already sold their cars and they've been delivered. Might just be a few day delay getting the systems to update.
Yes each new year the cost typically goes up a few hundred even if the cars are unchanged from the previous year.
SI went up about $600 and there were no changes.
Good for you! I wasn't implying you were being ungrateful, just like your garage!
I've been a fanboy of mustangs for a while, specifically the foxbody and notch's from 87-93.
