Either one is going to work about the same. They're both just commuter grade ceramic pads. Akebono is probably better quality or slightly better performance than those "Brembo" aftermarket pads, however.

Ha! I'm not as smart as I look. Since posting this, I found a few places that offer 3M or other name brand pre-cuts, and they come with "installation insurance" in case I mess up and need a replacement. I'll let you guys know who I go with and how it went.

Is anyone DIY'ing their headlight PPF? I DIY'd mine using just 3M pro series bulk sheet. It was difficult because I didn't want to remove the bumper. It turned out pretty good, but has a couple small bubbles. When I re-do it, I want to try pre-cut PPF, but my concern is whether the vendor...

Use 1/4 tools for M6 fasteners. Not 3/8". It snapped because you used a 3/8" tool. Glad you got it out!

Anyone using a rear seat cover/protector on their FL5 CTR?? Can you recommend one that fits well? The CTR has rear seats whose head rests are part of the seat...so...its a bit unique in that way. Thanks!

I disagree. The car has 15K miles on it. He said the entry into 2nd gear is crunchy. It very well could just be old MTF that's causing it. Why not try swapping it? You're somehow super confident that its a clutch that is not disengaging fully. So...if that is the case, he needs to go get...

Clutch fluid needs to be flushed once every 2 years or so. So sure, why not? Have that done as maintenance. But lets go with your diagnosis of air being introduced into the hydraulics. If that is the case, then the dealer would need fo find the issue and fix it under warranty. Right...

Start easy and simple. A likely culprit is that your transmission fluid is spent. Try a drain and fill of the fluid first. The car is still under warranty, so don't do any mods or adjustments on your own that would void the warranty. If the fluid flush does not work, then go to the same, or...
