Saw that you guys (@procivic) blew your turbo on the way home from the track recently. I'm planning an upcoming track night and would love to learn more about what happened and how the rest of us can avoid it.
I bought these about a month ago from K series. They shipped directly from Acuity and were in my mailbox within a day or two. I mainly bought this set because they were the least expensive option for base bushings delivered to my door, but upon arrival it was clear they were very well machined...
Just to clarify, should they just "pop out" of the tower when pulled the direction of the visible opening? I pushed, pulled, and pryed (even with a large flathead screwdriver) with no success.
I've driven about 20 miles with it so far and have it enjoyed it. I paired the short shift adapter...
I installed mine tonight. Disassembly was going spectacular until I tried to remove the shifter cables from the shift tower. I could not get them off and was worried I'd break the plastic shift tower. I called ProCivic and the guy that answered admitted he did not have knowledge in that area and...

Catless and Ktuner for the gains. Easy for me to say though, I don't have to deal with CA emissions. Actually, I do not have to deal with any emissions. :D
I think we determined that Hondata doesn't really know the limit either, only that they pushed theirs hard and ended up having some issues. I don't want to knock Hondata but I'd recommend checking with @VitViper, though he has already said that he can extract extra more HP with the downpipe...
From what I've seen your best bet with the CVT to make the most out of everything is to have a tuner such as @VitViper do a custom tune for you. He can regulate the torque that is going through your CVT to keep it within comfortable levels but still pick up horsepower gains. I know he can easily...
