Did you notice a gap with your factory grille at all? Most of the customers who have a slight gap also had a gap with their factory grille. It seems to be more common with hatchbacks, but obviously yours is a coupe.
yeah for $490 you really can't go wrong with the CARB FlashPro. No real downside to MPG if you drive without your foot to the floor, and if you do....well, be prepared for maximum smiles!
Damn, that's some excellent MPG right there! That's the great part about this tune though, doesn't really affect daily driving usage unless you constantly are putting your foot to the floor.
No, the CARB version doesn't have the rev-hang fix because you need to change fueling parameters to accomplish that. It doesn't really make sense why this is not allowed by CARB, since when you eliminate the rev-hang you actually use a tiny bit less fuel...
Nice! We'd love to see another photo after you have this installed? Did you try putting your factory red H emblem on it? I assume the one in that pic is not your factory one?
Yeah it's definitely true that better acceleration power can add to safety. I've had the same thing happen to me before too, where if my car was too slow an accident could have occurred (I would have had to brake quickly and possibly had the car behind me slam into my rear).
The blue CARB version is a 50 state emissions legal version of the FlashPro, and it has limited tuning capabilities (but you can still adjust boost levels with it). The red Race FlashPro has full tuning capabilities but is not emissions legal. The CARB version is also $200 less.
Since the release of the new Civic Type R, I'm willing to bet almost every single owner has been waiting for a solid, reliable, and inexpensive tuning solution. Well, the day has finally come! The FK8 Civic Type R FlashPro is out!
With 91 octane gas, the included base maps produce an amazing 33...
Yeah we've noticed the same thing here. Usually when driving to track events we'll get right around 40 MPG. It's awesome you can have the best of both worlds!
That's awesome, thanks for the feedback! Keep in mind, your power gains may also increase over the first 20 miles or so of driving as your ECU adapts to your fuel.
