Same here in Dallas, I’ve called over 20 around my area, and almost 95% of them will only take your information and get back to you. Almost all say they will be first come first serve only.

I think they mean, that’s when dealers will know their allotments and maybe delivery times… I still don’t see deliveries before late October.

I will say, since the debut, at least Honda has been showing off the R a decent amount.

I do not see how any “lotto” system will fly in the US. I did see that Japanese video talking about lottos in Japan, but no way that’s a thing here. All dealers are independent and can do whatever they want…

I don’t know about everyone else, but if Honda actually made a hatch, look like a hatch, I think I would go hatch…but given the Type R is really more of a fast back, I would pick the sedan.

Didn’t one of the translations say September Delivery?

I personally think this is a Japanese thing or maybe Canadian. I just don’t see that happening in the US.
