You know the deal breaker for me on the FK8 is the cooling. I live in a very hot city in the summer time, like well over 100 degrees and thatās just the average days. My BMW dealer gave me a FK8 for the day and right off the bat I noticed the heat soaking. It really took the fun out of it...
First of all you donāt know that they have been beat on. And I can assure you that any Type R you buy has been beat on especially one with 38000km on it.
Secondly, if youāre getting a 2019 refreshed Type R for $41690 the only thing going through my mind is how big was the claim? Not to mention...
So you donāt want to pay over MSRP for someoneās sloppy seconds FL5 with 800km on it but your willing to pay like 5k-10k over MSRP on someone else sloppy seconds or thirds FK8 with like 20000km on it?
The closest one I found on Autotrader at original MSRP price. 9x,xxxKm!
Saw this 2019 Honda...
The head scratcher for me is why wouldnāt they want the FL5 to be a better car? If Honda never built a better Type R than the First Integra Type R none of us would even be having a discussion right now. It all boils down to envy at the end of the day. I hope the next Hybrid Type R looks better...
The one in Abbotsford was listed @ 90k. These donkeys are trying to set the market. I think my dealership wanted in on the game as well. They offered to buy mine back from me for what I paid.
I had the first allotment at my dealership for the first RS3 and had to pass on it because of the size. When I seen the second gen I was like Iām getting it! No bueno, Canada doesnāt get it for some unknown reason to me.
Haha this guy again. I thought I already told you that this is the FL5 forum not the FK8 forum.
Alsoā¦if you guys are ever wondering what kind of POS keys your brand new FL5 look no further.
I had a dream last night that someone stole my FL5. Also now that Iāve had it a few months I realize just how lucky I am to have gotten one so early in the game! How lucky I am to have gotten one at all. I really hope Canada gets a nice flood of cars this spring cause I actually feel guilty...
LMAO! I was just wondering this same thing on the weekend! Iāve washed my car like ten times yet when I look under the hood you cant see any evidence of where the water goes. I knew it dropped down that gap but itās nice to have it confirmed!
Thanks for this absolutely needless yet highly...
Even if I was cross shopping the Civic Type R, which I wasnāt (ok maybe the GolfR). For the looks alone the CTR is worth the 10k premium over the Elantra N, not to mention the fit and finish and the fact that CTR is the better car IMO.
I didnāt buy the CTR for its creature comforts anyways. So...
Maybe.
I just think from a marketing point of view as far as the North American market goes it makes sense to offer a full fat version of the Integra to help boost sales of the base Integraās.
I honestly think that the ITS is going to be exactly the same mechanically as the CTR, suspension and...
If they come off that aggressive it will be tempting to trade in the FL5. Iām pretty sure mechanically they will be identical so itās going to come down to a styling/luxury decision at the end of the day.
