All these electric sports cars, how different are they going to be from each other lol?
Every time a company introduces a new electric sports car my reaction is just "here we go again.." They all sound, look and put together the same way, its so boring. i.e. look at the engineering at goes...
It's called wings and slicks. They operate all over but with the one I went to they were in Brampton. The company was featured on one of the Straight Pipes episodes. It was amazing. Learnt how to drift, J turn, reverse 180 and then did a mini drift course. Very cool experience. Check it out.
100% agree. Funny, I drove an E36 sedan for a stunt course this weekend. What a machine! So sad how BMW has come down to whatever they are now.
I had a 2013 BRZ, the newer ones are a little more refined. The BRZ was raw, had a great seating position (you are low in the car), RWD was fun to...
I know what you mean. Warning, its a bit of a story:
I've been thirsting over the Supra since 2017. Was on the forums for 5 years, met all these people, followed everything, sold my BRZ to make space for it and kind of positioned myself to be able to purchase one within 2 years of release. I...
Which one do you expect to feel more raw, motorsport? GRC or Type R?
Based on what I've seen in the reviews and how the old R drove, I think the R would feel more raw. Particularly, at low speeds.
What are people's thoughts?
What I don't understand about the EV dream is how do we plan to support all this electrical load with no significant change in infrastructure? Like all these older towns and cities in Europe, do they have capacity already installed to support the power required to charge all these vehicles? What...
Yeah in Canada the circuit is 61k after tax. Yes you get the amazing powertrain, but the interior is just a nice corolla. I ain't paying 61k for just a nice corolla interior. The core is even worse. Cloth seats for 55k after tax? What?
I'm sure the Type R will be 60k after tax in Canada as...
So just watched a bunch of GRC reviews since they just came out today. Thomas from Throttle House put it as "the Golf R and GRC should be fearful of the new Type R". Now I'm even more excited for the FL5.
Unless you live way up North, where you get 20cm (7") of snow consistently, you don't need AWD. And even then I doubt a GR corolla with its ground clearance would be great for driving in deep snow despite its AWD. A good set of winter tires+2WD trumps seasonal+AWD any day. I've driven my RWD BRZ...
Funny, people are saying the opposite on the GRC forum i.e. GRC will eat the Type R for breakfast. I feel either car would excel as both cars cater to a slightly different audience.
