Curious, do you think leasing the FL5 makes sense? Dealer told me residual after 4 years would be $25,000+tax. I'm thinking, well will this car ever get down to that number? Limited allocations plus FK8's not depreciating at all makes me think this car would hold value. You could save on some...
I honestly don't know why its this way. Type R, GRC, Supra, like wtf? Hyundai on the other hand calling me every week to get a N. And let's not forget the used FK8, the prices like why, why is it like this? I get the whole JDM crazy but its just too much now.
I apologize for the pessimism, but I'm losing hope that I'm going to get this car new. Unless you are 1-3 at a dealership in Canada, its going to be hard to get this. I base this on all the conversations I've had so far with numerous dealerships.
S2000 lol. I drove a 135i, didn't like it much. Felt like a cramped 2 door commuter car. Didn't feel special enough for a summer only fun car.
The S2000 though, that's a different experience altogether. You have to drive it to know. It just feels right and special, and has this motorsport...
It's like the M2 has silicone in its rear, but its botched since butt implant surgery didn't go well. I guess the trend has affected the M2 as well lol.
That's my worry too. I want a hardcore 4 seater sports car. Other than the germans don't know what else to have as a back up for the FL5. Used FK8, maybe a LCI M3.
