  1. There’s a Reason Honda Made Active Exhaust, Don’t Disable

Just tested again today driving back to back with and without the fuse pull. With the valve stuck open, car feels gutless down low (feels more N/A engine) and there is less surge of torque from the turbo that is felt with the valve closed. The valve definitely serves a beneficial purpose with...
  2. Roughness on initial takeoff

Actually not so much the steering wheel but just in general throughout the car, you might want to get that checked out.
  3. FL5 Blendmount

I can take more pictures but it's straight forward and self explanatory when you actually try to mount it. It will slide off because the arm tapers like a cone, so to speak. You are filing down the base of the arm to make it more or less a 'cylinder' for the clamps to bite onto.
  4. Roughness on initial takeoff

I just installed the PRL rear motor mount and this was exaggerated especially with the valve fuse mod (I have the front resonator delete as well). NVH is practically the same as stock with valve closed. I think it's just the nature of this drivetrain to vibrate hard through certain lower RPM...
  5. FL5 OEM Wheel Curb Rash Repair

I think everyone’s done the sharpie trick on black wheels at one point or another.. ?
  6. FL5 Blendmount

Just wanted to share that it is 'possible' to use blendmount on our cars. It has been issue free for 8 months and counting. BlendMount P/N: BBV-2000R It just involved a bit of filing on the tapered arm. Follow homelink mirror replacement guides to remove the mirror and file down the arm...

  14. Making front map lights useful

I honestly have zero clue with my very limited electrical background. The ‘door’ function just does not work. Everything else works and the ‘ON’ button does turn on both lights. My only guess is that they left out a wire on the CTR for the door function to work, and I thought that was too much...
  15. FL5 Overheated on Track

There is an interesting claim that DE5 has way less issues with overheating on track. Baffles me what Acura could have done different, cooling isn't an easy/cheap fix.
