I’m sad to report that it is not a simple plug and play. My only guess is that the male connector needs to be changed as well. But I did find something on the circuit board inside the assembly of the stock FL5 unit. Maybe we get lucky and someone who is more knowledgeable can chime in.

I asked? Cars shut off when you remote start it, but not when it's running normally, idle or not.

One thing is for sure, the car is just much easier to operate with the valve functioning as intended. The hesitations, and gutless low end was not a good look with the fuse pull.

Never heard of a car shutting off on it's own while the engine is running.
