another local store in the triangle area has a white coming in within a month, looks like its 1000-1250 over + their doc fee. im glad to pass info to anyone looking, just not paying over msrp personally
i know man im tempted and its eta is feb which isnt too bad. i have an affinity to white cars (like my fk8, like my GR, like my 99 itr was, etc etc etc lol) but am never mad at red
most dealers in 2024 dont have a floorplan
whats crazy is that i can get a red one without issue at msrp plus $775 “package”. a local NC store has 2 customers ahead of me that want anything but red ?
ps Vann York is $3500 over lol
i have a local dealer who still has a 2024 that they're trying to get over for. even when you find one at MSRP down here (Carolinas), there's some bogus BS package and/or a bogus BS "doc fee". I've been in the car business 20 yrs now and it still boggles my mind :banghead:
I'm in the same boat and its frustrating. so many local dealers sitting on inventory and are blowing my phone up with calls & emails, yet wont negotiate lol. wild times
6% at 84 months isnt happening. ive been seeing credit unions get more aggressive at 72 months in the 5.25-5.99% range, banks are 5.75-6.25% as far as buyrates go
*edit* i missed the part saying good credit with half down. my advice is to talk to YOUR bank and shop around your local C/U’s...
lol they quoted me 1000 over on their 2 white 2025's and told me non negotiable. they were at MSRP on their black 2024 which now appears to be gone and they charge a $900 "closing fee" that "helps pay salaries and keep the lights on"
huntersville honda told me $6800 over msrp, knowing im in the car business and bought my fk8 from their competitor lol. good to see the metro Charlotte area is still wild with their markups when trying to get an fl5 ?
