I never owned a car with a B or a K series, but really missed the sound of them (many of my friends had the back in the day). A local Audi dealer had a nice 2011 Si for sale and I was basically just going to buy it on the spot, but the salesman offered me to test drive it, so I did. I wound it...
Can you check two things for me?
Start your car, turn the parking brake off, then turn off the car and see if it engages the parking brake.
Next, start your car, put on your seatbelt, turn the parking brake off, then take off your seatbelt and see if it engages the parking brake.
You may be...
Oof, it could be a Canadian thing.
I will play with different combos tomorrow to see if I can get it to engage.
BTW, can you switch your digital gauges to MPH. I may want to try to retrofit the Canadian gauge cluster in.
No, this is good to hear that is does, I just can't find the setting (I am assuming there is one, since I've seen most cars with electronic brakes do).
Really wish this had a manual parking brake...but I guess it's the way all the cars are going.
My concern is most European cars do this (well at least my Mercedes did and my Alfas do). I just have a feeling parking garage attendants are not going to know to do this.
I have a 2022 Si. The electronic parking brake seems useless to me if there is no way to configure it to engage automatically, when say turning off the vehicle. All the vehicles I had prior to this with an electronic parking brake allowed for you to enable it or disable it upon turning off the...
What's your goal? If just a little more power, I would do an off the shelf Tune (Hondata or Ktuner) and a cone filter intake when they come out for the little added sound.
If you want noise, then just go exhaust.
To keep things cool, you could then do an intercooler (especially before the next...
What’s stock piping diameter on the Si? Unless the stock exhaust is 1.5” at its narrowest, 50mm for an upgraded exhaust seems quite small. I can see a 2.5” that then splits to two 2” pipes.
I’m 45. Grew up in the Honda tuning scene in the late 90s/early 2000s and wanted to play with a Honda again before being forced to go electric. The daily driver I am coming from is an Alfa Giulia, which I couldn’t stand (have a Stelvio too, which I do like).
For fun I have a stock 94 Supra...
This is going to be special, will be appreciated in the future like a Supra MK4.
That being said I would be too worried about using it as a daily diver/work car, especially parking it in NYC parking garages.
ADM will be nuts, especially on the Circuit Edition. I suspect that one may beat...
This reminds me of the Win Racing spoiler for the Altezza. I don’t have my Si yet, but if the OEM spoiler is not screwed in, I would replace it with this.
Just need HPD to appear on eBay with a seller who accepts returns, so I can make sure it fits.
