Thank you for the info! Fortunately no CCT noises, and motor feels very healthy. I've been checking the oil religiously too!
I just need new brake fluid!
I had the dealer put on the new b pillar trim and it solved my tick issue. I attempted to do it myself, but was scared of damaging some of the other window trim parts. I'm way to embarrassed to say how much I paid the dealer to do it, but the book time was 1.5 hours or something like that. I am...
Got new tires for the AP1 this week (Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02) and i'm still resisting the urge to mod the car. The only thing i'm changing next is all new fresh fluids, and possibly some. new. 2-piece brake rotors with some performance pads.
When I was looking for the s2k recently, I also entertained the idea of a 987 Boxster S. Driving them back to back the s2k just suited me better plus, I don't like the idea of having to fix something on the boxster.
The boxster shifter was not that good and the car despite having hydraulic...
I've wanted an S2000 for way too long, and missed the boat when they were readily available. I've been looking an found a mint condition, all original and original owner AP1 with 73K miles! The family was selective on who they wanted to sell the car too and luck was on my side! The car feels so...
I've wanted an s2k since they came out, but did the euro route and got an e46 m3 at the time. Unfortunately the prices have shot up on the s2k, but I found a few that hopefully will work out. As little as I drive the g80 now, I still love it and will hold onto it for a while.
Congrats! I was the one who has a G80 and FL5, but the G80 has seen less driving time with the arrival of the FL5. I almost sold it to pickup a 991.2 S, but decided to get an S2000 instead.
I ended up buying mine at Lodi Honda. I actually went to Walnut Creek Honda afterwards for parts and the guy said he would have matched the 4K over as well. Bay Area dealers are starting to play ball and I found 4-5 dealers with cars in stock. My OTD price was 55K, which is a bit much for a...
It's getting warmer out, and as usual, I heard the faint 'tick'. This time, I pulled into a gas station, and I can continue to hear the tick even with the car stopped and turned off. The noise is 100% coming from the exterior shiny molding on the b pillar (part number 72470-T24-T01) If you push...
Yeah, I totally understand that too! I just think i'm at the point in life where I don't have the time, but I definitely see the appeal of making some memories of a road trip to pickup a car--saving money is just icing on the cake!
That's not the same. An NSX isn't exactly readily available and if he found the one he wanted across the country and planned out a trip for it, I could definitely understand why he would do that.
A few years ago, I did drive 9 hours up to Oregon to buy a motorcycle from a dealer that sold it...
