  1. SCCA Autocross Stock Class

I ended up just getting 275/30/19 RT660s. Not the fastest tire, but I have some familiarity with them at least and the sizing will be pretty close.
  2. SCCA Autocross Stock Class

As of now most of my events are at zMax in Charlotte, which does tend to have relatively high speed courses. Might be interesting. 275/30/19 is really close in diameter but only option is RT660. Probably going RE71RS in 275/35 and see how that goes.
  3. SCCA Autocross Stock Class

Has anyone tried a 275/35/19? I got a set of ITS wheels at a really good price and given the relative lack/cost of Street class legal wheels I figured I’d roll with them as Autocross wheels, at least for now.
  4. Anyone got a roadmap to 325hp? 2024 Civic Si

I just sold a modified Civic Si and bought a Civic Type R. My experience, at least, would severely challenge both ends of that proposition (and the first even more than the second). You can also return a bolt on car to stock relatively easily, just retain the OE parts. Regardless, if he already...
  5. Anyone got a roadmap to 325hp? 2024 Civic Si

Just look at the 10th Gen cars. Walk in the footsteps of those who came by. But also TSP answered. Can think of like 20,000 reasons.
  6. Sway bars

All metal bushings are going to make noise. That’s the trade off for the performance. Keeping them lubed will help some, but clunking is normal. That is the endlink bushings. I guess make sure the bar itself isn’t contacting anything, but that would be more than a little clunking.
  7. Post your FL5 Civic Type R delivery pics! 🙌 📸

2024 SGP, picked up on Friday. Coming from a 2017 Civic Si (and CivicX forum). Scratched the modifying itch with the Si, and was happy to find a buyer who liked what I had done with that car, but plan to keep the CTR stock. Will be it running in SCCA street class, which will help to keep me...
  8. VTEC Turbo Decal?

I have the CDM “Turbo” decals on the side skirts of my 10th. https://www.heeltoeauto.com/emblems-badges/honda-genuine-side-rear-turbo-decal-white-2016-honda-civic-75773-tbc-c11zb-hac.75773-tbc-c11zb.html No VTEC of course. If they are black you could put them there (depending on color of the...
  9. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

If it isn’t your standard testing procedure then you should not put it out or you should be clear about the conditions. I’m not shilling for Honda or the 11th, but I work in publishing and I think that is irresponsible editing.
  10. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

If all we have are the MT numbers then consider that they were at the same press launch as everyone else. No prepped surface. Not even necessarily a flat surface. Just standard tarmac. Probably no real opportunity to do multiple launches and attempt different RPM clutch dumps. They at best took...
  11. ? 2022 Civic Si First Drive Media Reviews & Videos Are Out!

The dealers have to order them that way, or be allocated. Probably dealers in the snow belt don’t opt for summer tires because most customers would prefer all-season. Even in the southeast, most of the Si on dealer lots have AS tires.
  12. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

That’s already what a CivicX does on a 93 tune.
  13. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

The MT piece is about as fair as it is going to get. I know it is a fine car because I have a CivicX and it is a fine car that I still enjoy every time I drive it. I just see no compelling reason to move into the new one. That’s the disappointing part. But if you don’t have one, or have high...
  14. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

195 WHP would be about 215 crank so the dyno sheets are probably within the margin or error and/or variation between engines. The CivicX Si tended to come in 185-190 WHP stock fwiw. Where are you seeing trap speeds for CivicXI?
  15. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

In the past Hondata numbers have been closer to crank, so possible it is 200 to the wheels. If that is the case I have no idea why Honda would not bump the numbers in the marketing. Or why the base car would come in so much lower. Will be curious to see sheets from some others on this.
  16. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

Are they trying to say 220 wheel? Yeah I’ll wait for some other dyno sheets before I believe Honda underrated the car by 40 crank horsepower. That would be a real stroke of marketing genius. The Hondata dyno is known to be … um, generous and Doug is a hype man.
  17. Hondata's 11th gen 2022 Civic Si Dyno Baseline Numbers -- Top end shows a big difference!

Who are you gonna believe, this guys butt dyno or the guy with the actual dyno? The world may never know.
