I wonder if you could do a no-resale contract like what Ford did for the 2017 Ford GT (link). I wouldn't mind signing some sort of contract where I can't resell the car for a certain duration of time. Personally, I plan on keeping this car forever.
Need to do a reverse propaganda campaign to hype up the GRC, so people forgo their FL5 waitlist spot. Every time someone asks for buying advice between the GRC and the FL5, play up the importance and superiority of AWD. ;)
I heard similar regarding the Type S. There are 3 TLX Type S listed at one of my local Acura dealer's website. They are not limited in a similar fashion as the Type R or the PMC editions, which both have a numbered badge.
