which add-on manager are you using for AC? I tried to download a local track and AC would not load it. I am sure it's something I'm doing. I got distracted by something else and haven't been back to look at it since.
Microcenter ? I wish - we just got a Costco last year! Sometimes I make it to St Louis which has one, and it's worth the drive if my wife wants to also hit Ikea lol. I might take a day off and go get one. Maybe get a new video card while I'm at it so I can run 4k instead of 1440.
Looking at the RigMetal - Low cost sim rig chassis cockpit setup. Compatible with whatever seat and wheel/pedal I want. Currently just a G923 I've had for a few years. Don't want to go too crazy as I am not sure the amount of time I'll have for this. I think I could end up with a workable...
Comes with seat belts I'm sold! Thanks for the link that looks really nice. I don't have an awesome wheel or pedals, but I have a feeling a nice seat would make all the difference for 1 hour+ sessions. I'll probably make room for it in my office and then I can use it on conference calls ?
I started looking at random things based on the IC thread - this looked interesting: AIRTEC Motorsport Turbo Radiator for Honda Civic FL5 Type R - AIRTEC Motorsport Maybe a little gimmicky? They also make an oil cooler, but not for US model FL5 with the different crash bar setup.
I think I'll spend a bit finding a sim seat today. I need to play AC more and give iracing a try as well. Plus, my 5yo LOVES Forza Horizon 5 so I'm really getting the seat for her right? ?
My plan is to grab whatever lightly used IC comes up for sale in the next few months ? And wait for everyone else to settle this debate once the new tube and fin models finally come out.
"better" is subjective in some cases. I got s PRL intake because I wanted turbo noise. That was better to me vs. factory. Probably no objective numbers gain however.
Stop posting vids from Japan I'm ready to hop on a plane again ? I didn't get to check out type one closed the only day I could have gone sadly. Thanks for sharing the FL5 specific shop bits ?
Triple pass radiator from WOT came pretty well packaged. The box was thick and the inlet outlet were protected with foam. Weighs in at 19 pounds. Welds look good enough with a little unevenness in a few places but nothing crazy.
Godzilla approves ?
