Wanted to give a little update and feedback. So I have put some time in the seat and have had music playing for about 6-7 hours. Sub is starting to loosen up. It’s really more fluid sounding. It’s not a 10 or 12 with an amp but it wasn’t supposed to be. I’m sure happy I wrapped the...
As stated, next week I have a slot to get Jailbroken and Tuned. Can't wait. Should have around 500 mile son the car by then so we should be ready to roll. cant wait. Huge shoutout to TSP for shipping my Flashpro ultra fast. More to follow.

I used this to validate the wiring :
And I used a 2 ohm DVC wired in parallel so...
Ok after listening to the car audio , mind you I did NOT upgrade speakers in the car just the sub, I can say for the $38 sub and about 20 bucks of sound deadening I am so happy. I can hear a thump now ?
Ok update as speaker arrived.
I wanted to make the box more solid so I used a layer of Killmat. Get it all wired up and had to make some new holes to drill in the screws for the sub. Added just a little killmat in the trunk areas as a precaution. I mean less than 5 sheets so not much...
If I didn't have family 30 min from TSP I would consider something else but drive there and having it done is kinda a good deal considering i don't have to ship my ecu and wait and such.
I'm currently awaiting delivery of the speaker I did NOT spend a ton on a sub for the minor improvement that people are saying you see. I'll post more in a few hours once I get the part and get it In. Im also wiring a 2 ohm DVC to 1 Ohm so we will see if the bose amp likes that or not...
@Icehawk I’m sure the green wire is actually the positive. I’m gonna show you a picture if you trace the wire back on the actual enclosure itself to the plug that goes into the body harness, the bottom is red and then that correlates to the green and white wire on the speaker box. See photo...
Update. : This is more details about the plug on your OEM sub. I wanted to have the option to put it back so this is what I did. Removed the clip from the speaker. Removed the solder. Then filed down the connected just enough to put a connector on it. Now I can use the factory...
I 100X agree. google says that should need a SVC 2 ohm woofer. i picked up a cheap 2 ohm DVC to mess around with. I'm going to wire it to 1 ohm and see what happens.
