Maybe secure line of credit or home equity. If Honda gives 6.5 rate you probably won't find better at this time.
Let's hope they don't get griddy like Nissan (400z) and ask for 8.5.
No way, even golf r is at about 47k now. But type r is the better car even without the AWD. I bought my golf r brand new in 2019 for 40k, those were good days for buyers.
I personally don't get the GRC. it's wait too rushed and overpriced. I'd wait for another 2 to 3 years for the model to mature.
Also, maybe this has no relevance to the GRC, but after the issues they've been having with the GR86, I'd be a little nervous getting a GRC atm.
I agree, full disclosure I never liked the FK8 design. As soon as I saw the FL5 I right away knew I had to get one.
Get one before Type R becomes electric! I'm not super optimistic for the electric era. Maybe I will feel differently in the future, but atm after all cars become electric, my love...
Ya who knows, honestly dealers don't know either imo. I still think it's going to be limited in Canada. Dealerships will get guaranteed allocations, probably 1 or 2, and the rest is up in the air.
Well if you're not top 2 or 3 at your dealership, you're probably not getting one this year. And if you're in USA, price is something you have to negotiate with your dealership unfortunately.
My guess is 51,999 MSRP. So yes about 60k out the door, pretty reasonable with tax + interest. If your paying cash, lucky you. If you're doing some sort of 7yr financing you can add another 14k on that price. So bigger the downpayment the better.
Well to be fair every manufacturer is having issues with this atm due to a recent shortage. I mean they seem to be doing their best, would you rather they rush production? At least we are going to see quite a few cars for 2023. if this was the GRC, I doubt any of us would be getting a car this year.
My color list is
Sonic
White
Black
Blue
Red
I was gonna go for white as #1, but I got spooked. I've seen a few older type Rs and the championship white almost looks kind of cream or eggshell. Hopefully I didn't make the wrong choice. I'll have to see the white in person.
My plan is to get...
I mean it is a 2023 model, so at least wait until 2023 guys :p
Cars have landed in USA so it's a matter of time. Once dealerships get the car they will make sure it sits on their lot the least amount of time.
I still think some lucky people will get their car end of Nov, early Dec.
Wow you got some big plans, would like to see pics when it's done in the future. Mine will remain pretty stock looking.
After doing some research on undercoating, I decided to stay away from any rubberized coatings, which apparently can end up worse in the long run if applied improperly. So no...
