Is there a guide to make sure that new steering wheel is straight?
I see on images that there is a guide pin on the bottom left of the steering wheel bolt but does that guarantee it’s straight or is there a small tolerance? From looking at diy and YouTube, it seems like it only installs one...
Thanks! Also, there is only that pin on the bottom left which aligns the steering wheel right? Meaning only one way to install it and it will be straight?
I’m getting ready to install one myself. Just want to confirm, thanks for the help.
Installed the ads module and the ride is much better. I wouldn’t say it’s too soft, over some roads it’s still stiff. At least, now I’m not fatigued after each drive. The roads around SoCal is not the best.
I would almost say the 18” wheels plus the module would be a great pair. Some say it...
Does anyone have this ADS installed with aftermarket springs Swift or others? In addition, with 18in wheels?
I read it can be too soft with 18in wheels but one can always just leave the setting in sport right?
Thanks
Same here, i get discomfort with the fl5 seats.
It’s common with a lot of fl5 owners, I had a Hans recaro on my m3 track car and no back discomfort at all.
I have Ohlins on my s2k and plan to get swift springs on the fl5 type r.
Now im thinking of just going Ohlins. Does anyone regret swift springs or doing springs only?
This makes a huge diff, I’m on 265 35 18 and it’s like night and day. The stock wheel and tire specs makes the ride harsh. I’m not sure if this is the intention Honda had. It’s almost similar to how all street cars come dialed in with more understeer for safety and legal reasons.
