Was in the market last week for a type R and the vast majority of dealers around me were still stuck at 5k over. Ended up finding one somewhat near me for msrp plus 900 for some random accessories. They were originally at 5 over but got it down as I said I would pick it up in a couple days...
Assuming that with a shipment that large it’s the last hurrah for the type R. Guess we will see. As long as they don’t announce it though it will be that much easier to get one at msrp.
Been over 20 years since I’ve incorporated this with numerous nice vehicles and have never gotten one scratch or dent. Really believe this is more of a perception problem. No matter the class of vehicle if it’s parked with everyone else you’re not unintentionally trying to say anything. With it...
I will say out of my own experience parking far away only brings unwanted attention to your car. Much safer to just park in the first spot you see between already parked cars.
Still looking for a BB Type R but haven’t found one yet with <5k ADM. current Stable is Porsche 981S, 392XR Wrangler, Ferrari F430, & Porsche Taycan Turbo. One day I’ll add that type R I will probably just wait out the adm game.

Congratulations on the car and you shouldn’t feel bad about getting the car at msrp. It’s hard to believe people are upset at that now a days. For all the coverage you have gave Honda it’s literally the least they could do. Even giving you the car at invoice is nothing and no one should be upset...
C7 just to clarify. I owned one for about six months and ended up dumping it. If it’s your daily I would recommend something else. If it’s a fun car it is hard to beat. It can do the daily duties very easily but is extremely frustrating not being able to utilize the power when you’re driving it...
while I haven’t driven the new type R I have driventhe last gen and both comp and non comp of the G80. The G80 has made a significant improvement in steering feel and enjoyment from the prior F80. Its more closer to Porsche then it has been in the past. While it has improved I still believe the...
A correction for the used car market is for sure in the future. When is anybody’s guess. However while the type R will be affected it won’t be by much. It’s still a relatively low volume car. It will be the same with the high end low volume market Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc. most likely...
