Bro nows the time, LeBlanc Honda in Louisiana sold me a 25 type R at $1800 UNDER MSRP today and they will have a white one, same price any day now. screw these dealers asking over msrp.
oh my when are you installing it?
btw if anyone is looking for a type R i just picked up a 25 for $1000 under MSRP at LEBLanc Honda, New Iberia Louisiana. They have a white one coming in any day and itll be the same price, actually $1800 under msrp but they add a mandatory $800- ceramic coat...
I just picked up a replacement 25 Type R $1000 UNDER MSRP.
my last one was a lemon. and Honda bought it back. I searched high and low across the US and had trouble finding any dealers that didnt have mark up but finally found one at LeBlanc Honda in New iberia Louisiana! They offer the type R...

that really is the truth there. it might not make sense on paper always, but how the car makes you feel and how you feel driving it are what matters most.
No there isn't a better option. Only because you said you want to keep it over 15 years though. If you just want a fun car to do the things you mentioned, those other cars would also be fun too, no doubt, but if you're in this for the long haul I can't think of a better option at all besides...
wouldnt Honda annonce if this was the end of production though? seems like it could boost their sales really easy, vs just ending it without saying a thing. When the Fk8 ended production didnt they have final editions etc?
I know what you're asking, to be honest, you're gonna find that there's not many owners who actually have upgraded the turbo and talk about it much on here. most threads about this are sort of speculative imo. I don't know why. You'll see the builds, but then the reviews of how it handles with...
This is a post to just show how amazed I am with the type R compared to a car that is over 3X as expensive, and often regarded as the bench mark of good handling cars.
I had some recurring issues with my 2025 Type R, so Honda America actually bought it back from me and reimbursed me even down...
I think you're over thinking it. If you didn't mention it I would never think the 18's on your red type r look bad from the side. I think they look good. I understand what you mean, yes the wheel wells are so big , if you like that real flush look , the 18's dont fill it out as well..but I...
i dont see the difference, if the oem design causes an issue, its a reliabillity problem. track or no, this car is not just a civic, they went to great lengths advertising this thing as the fastest FWD car around nurburgring, and on and on, so it should be able to do a few laps.
my baby may be...
well sorta. if youre going say 75 ,when it kicks in your limited to about 2200 rpm, but no boost at all. but somehow at first its very hard to get any throttle, so youll drop to almost 25., but if you start at 25 once in limp mode, you can crawl slowly thru the gears up to about 60 mph
I knwo what you mean about moving a bunch of lanes over once you hit limp mode lol
I got the hpfp replaced and the problem came back within a day.. have you made any progress my miami brother?
I'm biased, 2025., car has 6k miles and dealer cant fix a fuel cut issue that keeps popping up. The more I dig, I see many people have a variety of issues. I also notice that it overheats on the track for a lot of people..
The car does seem sensitive and will lock down into limp mode fast...
Did you not have the car for the 4 months? that sounds like a nightmare. Did you attempt to get Honda to just replace the car? and instead they gave you a new engine?
So my issue was not resolved. after the HP fuel pump was replaced the car started getting bogged down in all gears at wot...
well, the error came back of course, but this time at 65MPH heheh
full throttle
so theyre replacing the high pressure fuel pump. hopefully that does it.
I have the module now, but would the dealer potentially use this to dq me on warranty work if I had an issue?
Separately, I want to install the ITS suspension module but have heard it also effects the way the car's steering feels in r mode. I love the way the steering feels in R mode as is...
