  1. God Spec info 18x10 +40 (pictures, alignment specs, tire info)

Are you not going to rotate your tires front and back?
  2. Rear Pad replacement at 9k?

Aw man, was hoping you knew a secret source. HAHA
  3. Rear Pad replacement at 9k?

My fronts are probably 60%, my rears are closer to 25%. Same experience on my gen6 outback, I replaced rears at 10% (oops) and fronts still had 50%+. I'm thinking it's overactive stability control. I don't drive aggressively with either. In older civics, I could probably go through two front...
  4. Rear Pad replacement at 9k?

Where are you getting rear pads for $80, or are you thinking of aftermarket pads? Dealer online price is $190 and other online sources look to be $142.
  5. PRL FL5 Wing Delete: Clean Looks, Smart Engineering

Wait are you talking about these delete covers being painted CW or repaint the hatch/plate panel because they don't match on a lot of people's CTRs?
  6. Battery registration after replacement?

When I disconnected power, it threw some lights but iirc it went away after some minutes of driving and off/on. I didn't have to do anything
  7. 2027 FL5 Speculation Thread

Prelude can't have a type R because the 2027 civic type R will have 700hp and SH-AWD. 295 tires on 18x10. Factory coilovers and a motec system exhaust
  8. Picking up on Monday - General Questions

Assuming anywhere they salt the roads or where enough drivers don't know how to drive in snow... Which is everywhere. The car would kick a decent amount of grime up on the sides too, and the only protection option there is full PPF.
  9. Desmond regamaster evo

Yeah I skimmed it because they seemed like a lot of copy pasta for a "yes you will definitely pay tariffs for anything barely resembling wheels". We all know AI is not very helpful beyond what regular Google search tells you, particularly when policy is changing on a weekly basis and announced...
  10. Desmond regamaster evo

Are you saying he has a chance of getting regamasters for under $800 after shipping?
  11. Suma Performance Wide Angle Mirrors install on FL5 Type R

Agreed, a GOOD bit wider. Took me a good 2-3 weeks to really get used to the wide angle and where things are when they were in the mirror. Looks really great now and glad I did it I didn't get a pry tool, but used some trim tools I had around. I was also able to get the mirror on with the...
  12. Another not so good dealer experience with the dumb reverse mount wheels

What a terrible experience. It makes no sense to have a bunch of one-offs on one model AND not provide sufficient info to the dealers. Everything from the wheel/tire mounting, incorrect lug nut torque, alignment numbers, and the shipping blocks, etc. Dealer scratched my wheels when I had a...
  13. God Spec info 18x10 +40 (pictures, alignment specs, tire info)

It is when you only consider the wheel (poke), but the same width tire stretches differently, which is critical to clearance when you're also really low.
  14. Any Recommendations for Front Brake Pads

I'd say start with the brake pad rec thread. Find a street pad and you can search for threads on any specific model https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/brake-pad-manufacturer-model-compilation-thread.54351/
  15. God Spec info 18x10 +40 (pictures, alignment specs, tire info)

I can believe that won't rub under normal compression due to dynamic camber, but that does look like a lot of static poke. Maybe 5-10mm, but if you get a +45 or +50 you'd have to check your inner clearance under compression...
  16. God Spec info 18x10 +40 (pictures, alignment specs, tire info)

Potholes. Potholes is the reason for 18s
  17. Who’s Running front window tint and what %

Congrats on making a decision. Often that's the hardest part (for some) Let us know how it is after a while under the city lights
  18. Who’s Running front window tint and what %

I thought about 70% front to get the heat rejection (even with a sun shade) but had previous experience with a 3M (forget which one) film that made lights at night wavy/starburst. It wasn't terrible, but I already have astigmatism and it drove me nuts. Curious if it's gotten better, but...
  19. Spoon Style Red/Black Carbon Hood Vent

Looks nice, I'm a fan of the pattern. Did you have any gasket or material to limit marring your paint?
