I figure 2pc ramps could help with accessibility if it doesn't need to go on jack stands, but once you get to front jack point, you can remove the ramps to add stands. Doesn't look like the 2pc works with stands.. maybe.
Thanks, looks nice. Def premium solution
Hope you don't mind me hijacking an old thread, but it is related...
What are you all using for ramps or are most people using a light duty jack for the 2 jack method? I currently don't have ramps because I'm concerned it wouldn't clear the bumper, and if it were low enough it might not give...
PNs are in the OP. If you order from college hills Honda, you order the mirror and the harness is a check box with no listed number - until you get the confirmation email.
Looks great. Looks like the offset and the 275 position it well to the fender. Drop is nice too probably lowest I would consider, great to hear no rub.
How is the damping working out with the sport lines + 18s.
If you dont mind extra cleaning, it might be worth it. It feels nice when it's clean. The grip really is probably marginal if not clean and without gloves. Leather is much easier to clean.
For me it was a dealer profit item. Would I buy it retail and install myself knowing now? Probably not...
Honestly got lost by the end reading that, but I get 240-280 miles depending on usage. My FL5 eats gas on start/warmup, so on short trips only I tend to get 22ish mpg. On highway driving 65-70 I could probably get 30mpg the entire tank and the meter usually lines up with filling up 10 gal. 10.5...
I get not washing the car, and maybe you want to be the one to unwrap your present to yourself, but what is the deal with no PDI? Unless you're planning on storing it as a collectors item?
I wish I knew to ask about QC docs. That would be a cool artifact.
Sorry, meant that ceramic would protect against UV where PPF is not installed. UV damage is the reason you may see differences in paint color years later if you remove the PPF, since the film projects against UV. Ceramic coating should protect against UV as well as long as it is maintained...
That sucks, and you had PPF most of the way up too. There's construction here too, if not in local roads then on the freeway. Only takes one rock. I guess I did have some windshield dings that I got filled.
Is this from driving behind gravel trucks or debris on road from just cars and SUVs? I'm guessing I'm fortunate to only have one or two chips on A pillars from my previous cars, mostly bumper and lower parts of hood were chipped.
On this car, fenders are more vulnerable and the lower part of...
I would think a track inspired performance car would be set up from factory for relatively smooth roads, not pothole roads. I understand lots of us deal with potholes of varying size and frequency but that isn't the target of the design, even if it is a civic.
It would be nice if they offered...
@getGroyped did you have to do anything special with customs or brokers? I have one on the way, but I've never ordered parts that pass through customs.
That sucks yours was scratched, and the red does look a little intense in the pics. Hoping I'm ok with it when it comes.
Thanks for the pics and instructions! Install was relatively easy with trim tools. Looks a lot better than stock and love the dimming and homelink.
Anybody figure out how to wire the mirror so it doesn't have power when the car is off? Some other forums mention depending on pinout there is...
