  1. Service Manual for FL5 Civic Type R [PDF Download]

I believe the manual is for all Civic hatchbacks. It's not Type R specific
  2. Service Manual for FL5 Civic Type R [PDF Download]

Exactly that. With these 4 PDF's my maintenance needs for next 10 years are now covered. Thank you again!
  3. Service Manual for FL5 Civic Type R [PDF Download]

Yes Sir! Thank you again. If it's not too much of a bother - do you have the manual transmission change PDF too? I am curious, as the torque specs state to use a liquid gasket on the fill plug.
  4. Service Manual for FL5 Civic Type R [PDF Download]

Looks like it's missing the brake removal/install instructions. However the torque specs for all bolts is there
  5. *The FL5 Track Junkie Thread*

Thank you sir. Here is my contribution. A set of OEM rotors can be had from here shipped from the U.K for less than the rotor hats. That being said the paragon hats are probably a better metal formulation...
  6. *The FL5 Track Junkie Thread*

Amazing. Thanks you for the rotor information. I'm now thinking I'll just swap to RPX the week before a track event - and back to OEM after the drive back.
  7. *The FL5 Track Junkie Thread*

How are the SR11 vs RPX in street driving? In terms of rotor wear/noise. I'm thinking of running a set of RPX all summer for daily/track use, and switching back to OEM during winter months (Oct-May). I'm assuming the rotors will eventually bed back to the OEM...
  8. How does one distinguish between K20C1's

I think the block and internals are identical. The part numbers are probably changed due to supplier changes / market.
  9. How does one distinguish between K20C1's

I believe the FL5/DE5 have different ignitions coils. Plus the magical Type R induction box
  10. 275/30/19 on OEM wheels ?

Awesome! I'll look into the RT660's too.
  11. 275/30/19 on OEM wheels ?

I was wondering if a set of ExtremeContact Sport 02's would fit in 275/30/19 on the OEM 19s? I've seen pictures of wide tires on the OEM wheels with spacers - but what about without anything extra?
  12. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

I feel kinda bad reading these posts. My FK8 died and I just stumbled into an unlclaimed FL5 sitting at a dealer lol
  13. 2025 Civic Si Refresh Gets Aggressive New Styling, Stiffer Chassis, Heated Seats & More Tech Features

In Canada, effectively the same car as before with minor styling cues updated. If you use wireless CarPlay or android auto the radio change won't make a difference.
  14. M340 or G80 M3 experience from FL5

Personally for me I'd stick to 2022 model year and older M340i and/or G80. Reason being in 2023+ the 3 series LCI removed most physical controls in the cabin. That being said the 2025 M340i is getting the 3rd revision of the fabled B58 with port injection and direct injection, which should...
  15. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

    Which province are you in?
  16. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

There was one other buyer who was interested before me but financing didn't work out. They ordered some stuff that was placed on the car before I decided so I did end up paying for those things too but not end of the world. The car itself was at MSRP brand new, 18km. Oh yeah, I bought my FK8...
  17. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Haha yes. I first told them I wasn't interested and then my FK8 failed me.
  18. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

Yes. The province - not city
  19. Canadian dealer asked what colour Type R I want

So I am coming from a 2020 FK8. My old cars fuel pump failed on me and there were no replacement parts due to the recall. My unwavering faith in my car a bit shaken, seeing as all the parts that failed were sourced from England..... where the car was built. My A/C compressor shaft seal failed...
