Agreed. Everyone's need is different and "loudness" and "tone" are very subjective. Best advice I can give to anyone consider changing exhaust is to try to listen to a setup similar to what you're considering in person if you can. Otherwise, it's just a crap shoot. No youtube video can truly...
You may be disappointed just removing the front resonator as I believed it only increase volume by maybe 5% to 10%. I went straight to removing the larger resonator and is quite happy with it. Still have the front smaller resonator in place, but I think I'm good with the sound right now. The...
What I meant was that I would try to avoid the dealer as much as possible, but I cannot avoid it in my instance since I needed warranty work on my door panel. The only way to avoid going into the dealer was to buy the panel and fix it myself.
I wouldn't assume they will "always" cover the seats in plastic. I been into my dealer on 3 different occasions and they've used plastics to cover the seats only 1 out of the 3 times, which is why I use my own "covering".
That was my fear on the first couple of times that I had to bring mine back for warranty work. So, I purchased and put on a "cheap" amazon seat cover just for this reason!
OP, why are you trying to diagnose it yourself if your car is still under warranty? Don't try to clear any code(s) if I were you. I would at least let the dealer try to diagnose it first so they can document it in case it does becomes an actual problem down the road for you to have some...
Why is everyone so hung up on the wheels MUST BE matching Championship White? Who cares if it's brighter than the rest of the car? One hit of the brakes and that matching CW disappear even if you did have CW wheels! Do people don't drive their cars in the real world?
Just because you never had an issue doesn't mean it won't show up out of no where one day. For me, if it's a safety issue, get it done regardless. Giving up a bit of "feel" is better than potentially getting into an accident in my book.
FYI - you can always perform a recall at anytime...
What's the oil life indicator say? If it's about to hit one year, you should be at about 15%. If so, your first oil change should be free, so take it to your Honda dealer.
I'm sure the DWS06 will last forever! I had ECS on other cars, which are a "softer" compound and those will go at least 25k - 30k unless you drive like a maniac.
OP - Dealers won't specifically look for it even if it stored a code for the fuse pulled. I had been into the dealer 3 different time for various stuffs. Not once did they mentioned anything about my fuse issue on my exhaust. Each time doing their standard multi-point inspection - not sure if...
